Anxious to go after Mamushi, Ryuji’s temper boils over, and he disowns his father. Worried about the consequences, Rin intervenes, but the argument escalates, and Rin’s blue flames begin to glow. Juzo, fearing the uncontrollable power, throws Rin back, which only worsens the situation. Kirigakure knocks Rin unconscious to prevent further chaos.

Highlights of the Episode

One of the highlights of this episode is Rin’s newfound control over his flames. He learns to focus his flame on just the tip of the wick, a realization that brings him closer to mastering his powers. Kuro, Rin’s familiar, celebrates the achievement with him. However, Rin’s emotional outburst unintentionally reveals his true identity as the son of Satan to everyone in the temple.

Some viewers may find this episode slow, but I personally enjoy the character-driven drama. Rin, on the other hand, needs to gain better control over his emotions to succeed and protect himself. His passionate plea to Ryuji to reconcile with his father is commendable, but he fails to consider the repercussions of his revelation.
