Record of Ragnarok is a captivating fantasy-action anime series on Netflix. Based on the manga of the same name by Shinya Umeura and Takumi Fukui, this Netflix Original was initially produced by Graphinica, known for their work on Hellsing, Wonder Momo, and Another World, before being taken over by the Yumeta Company.

The story revolves around a desperate bid for survival. When the gods decide to annihilate humanity, the valiant Valkyrie Brunhilda convinces them to give mankind one last chance. Thus, the tournament Ragnarok is held, where humanity must win seven out of thirteen battles against the gods. To even the playing field, valkyries bond their souls to humans, granting them powerful weapons capable of slaying gods.

When Can We Expect Record of Ragnarok Season 3?

While Netflix has yet to confirm the release of the third season, considering the remaining seven rounds, it’s safe to assume that we will be treated to at least two more seasons of this thrilling series.

Looking at the release schedule for previous seasons, there was a nineteen-month gap between the first and second seasons, followed by a six-month break before the second part of the second season. If we apply a similar timeline, we can expect Record of Ragnarok Season 3 to arrive on Netflix by August 2024.
